What is a HABITAT?
A habitat is the home of an animal or a plant.
Most habitats include a community of animals, plants and water, oxygen, soil and rocks.

There are many different types of habitats.
A habitat provides what an animal or plant needs to live.
FOOD, SHELTER (PROTECTION), AIR and WATER
ACTIVITY

paper
pencil
coloured pencils or felt pens
- Write you name
- Fold a paper into 4 pieces.
- In each piece draw a different habitat for eg Jungle.
- In the habitat draw and label (write the names of) some animals and plants that live there.
You can choose any habitats and animals you like.
